God is good

We had a very nice weekend. Cindy and I had time to just spend alone. Bryanna has found a friend that just clicked. she spend most of her time with Molly, a nursing student here for several weeks. Cindy and I went to the beach to cool off and admired the beauty of the surroundings. On Sunday we went to our usual spanish church only this year we learned that they didn’t have to meet in a school like past years. They had raised enough money to build a church building. The congregation has grown several times over since we first came down here 6 years ago. They now have a full time pastor from Guatemala. We also learned that in this part of the country Evangelicalism has grown tremendously. Many people are coming to know Christ as their personal Savior. Praise God. On Sunday afternoon we visited Tiburcia’s home. The house is coming along. it now has some windows,partial cement floors, but most impressive was a tin roof. She and her family are very grateful for our congregations contribution to this much needed project. Cindy and I also spent some time witnessing to a back slidin christian friend. God has blessed us in so many ways, this trip, that we couldn’t even begin, to list them. We praise Him for leading us down here and showing us our purpose. We miss home and our church family. Were looking forward to another week of work down here and welcome prayer for safety and health. Cindy’s has had no breathing problems the whole time here. Praise God.

God is SO good! Glad to hear you’re finding some time to relax and spend time together and that Bryanna has found a friend to relate to well while there. May God continue to bless His church there! Praising God for your good health as well!
