Good to be back on dry land

As I reflect on the last four days on the Cuyos islands, I can see God working in our lives as well as the lives of others, here in Honduras. We had a wonderful time ministering to the people both medically and spiritually. We had 19 patients come to us on the island. Considering that the only way to get to where we were was by boat, that number wasn’t bad. We handed out Bibles and tracks to the pateints. Seeing the expressions on their faces, as we gave them the track, Pastor Jim gave us, was worth it’s weight in gold. We also had time to do some snorkeling at the reef, close by our house. God has provided us with such a beautiful ocean and the creatures in it. Some of us have never had an opportunity to witness it, But let me tell you it’s awsome. The mosquitos had a feast, dining on all of us. We went to another island for lunch. On the menu was FISH FISH and more FISH. Luckly for Cindy they found a chicken for her, since she doesn’t eat fish. They have a unique way of serving it here as you can see. I want to take this opportunity, to thank all that have been praying for us while we are here. It mean more to us than we can say with words. On our way back to the mainland, by boat, we hit a large wave and almost capsized. The boat took on water and it happened so fast, none of us knew what hit. The next thing I knew, all the passenger on the boat had been thrown off there seats and onto the floor of the boat. But the boat was upright. I can only say, Praise God we didn’t drown. This happened half way between the island and the mainland, were no other boats would have seen us. Thank you again for your prayers. As we start our last week here, I can say it’s been amazing so far, and I personnaly can’t wait to see what God has instore for us this week.
As I said previously, GOD IS GOOD! We will pray that the Holy Spirit will minister to the lives of those who received and read the tracts you gave them. May He find fertile soil to take root! We praise the Lord with you in protecting you during your return trip to the mainland. Was anyone seasick through it all!?!!
