OOPS I Goofed

I need to correct myself. In my last Blog,I told you about Cindy and Byranna’s trip to the dump, in my story I said that the government sponsored this food program. I stand corrected. The program is not government sponsored, but was started by a local missionary. Sorry for the mix up. Cindy talked about her adventure and told me that she was very moved by the children and some adults, that she saw. These children were much poorer than we have ever seen before. The Pastor at the local church, told Cindy he hadn’t any food in three days. Food prices in Honduras are just like in the states, there going up in price, at an alarming rate and when you take the economic situation here into account, that make it even more tragic. We are asking for prayer for these ones that have NOTHING even the basics, food and water. Cindy and I have decided to give our extra food to Lisa to give to the children when she goes back on Friday. I know its not much, but think of what Jesus did with a couple of fish and a loaf of bread. Blessings Karl
