To The Dump

No I’m not publicizing that furniture store in King of Prussia, I’m telling you where Cindy and Bryanna went today, on a mission. In LeCeiba the goverment has a program were twice a week they hand out food packs to the homeless. Lisa a local missionary here at Hospital Loma De Luz invited them to go and help hand out this food. They go and do this at the DUMP, literally, because that is were a majority of homeless people hang out, because they scavenge through the garbage, to find food to eat. It’s an opportunity to feed the hungry with food and to present the Gospel to them at the same time. I stayed behind at the hospital, to look at a building project, going on, down the street from the hospital. Details to follow !!!!! We said good-bye to several of our newly found missionary friends,That were down, doing short term work like us. Cindy and I along with Bryanna of course will be beginning our trip back home on Thursday morning. Even though our plane doesn’t leave till Saturday, we have transportation, and down here you go when you can get it. We miss our church family and are looking forward to seeing all of you again. Notice I didn’t say YA ALL like many of the missionaries down here say. Blessings Karl
